Silent City Ticket Purchase
Join us for this year’s production of Discover the Silent City! Silent City is an immersive walking tour through La Crosse’s historic Oak Grove Cemetery, where theatrical performances bring to life the stories of our community. This year’s theme is our region’s nature-based industries like quarrying, lumbering, and clamming and its early conservation advocates. For this year’s conservation and nature theme, we are partnering with the Sustainability Institute.
A motorcoach tour is available at 10:30 am. Walking tours begin every 15 minutes between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
Tickets are $12 for LCHS Members, $15 for Adults, and $6 for Students.
We anticipate that tickets will sell out this year as they have for the last several years.

Advance ticket sales will end on Friday, September 19th, at 12 pm or when they sell out.
Each person on the walking tour must purchase a ticket.
Cemetery walking tour tickets purchased online will be redeemed at the ticket tent at the Oak Grove Cemetery (1407 La Crosse Street, La Crosse) on the day of the event. Tickets will not be mailed. Please arrive early enough to park and check in at the ticket tent. Tours will begin on time.
Arriving before or after your scheduled tour time does not guarantee admission to a different tour's time; spaces may be available, but we are keeping the tour groups limited to 12 people for the safety and enjoyment of all visitors.
There are no refunds on Discover the Silent City tickets, but a tour time change may be available by calling 608-782-1980 before the event or by checking at the ticket tent on the day of the event. Silent City goes on rain or shine and is only postponed in cases of severe weather.
When purchasing tickets online, be sure to complete the checkout process: after adding tickets to your cart, make sure that you continue the checkout process by visiting your shopping cart in the top right corner (desktop) or the bottom of your screen (mobile).
