Join us for this year’s production of Discover the Silent City! Silent City is an immersive walking tour through La Crosse’s historic Oak Grove Cemetery, where theatrical performances bring to life the stories of our community. This year’s theme is our region’s nature-based industries like quarrying, lumbering, and clamming and its early conservation advocates. For this year’s conservation and nature theme, we are partnering with the Sustainability Institute.

A motorcoach tour is available at 10:30 am. Walking tours begin every 15 minutes between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Tickets are $12 for LCHS Members, $15 for Adults, and $6 for Students.

We anticipate that tickets will sell out this year as they have for the last several years.

Summer Trolley Tours

Historic Trolley Tours are returning this summer, offering guests air-conditioned trolley bus tours guided by local historians from the La Crosse County Historical Society. 

Mansions & Memories is a 2.5-hour exploration of La Crosse's most significant homes, including step-offs at the historic Hixon House and Castle La Crosse.
